All Terrain X Mode is developed by All Terrain Arc Pty Ltd trading as All Terrain Action. It is an aftermarket product developed initially for the BYD Shark 6 to improve off-road performance by means of software.
Development also considers portability to other BYD products such as a DENZA B5 and B8, and even road vehicles where aftermarket performance can enhance an EV or change the way the behaviour of the EV presents — focusing on the future of EV driving rather than replicating older automotive drive styles manufacturers often try to mirror.
